Day 1 down... Bad Beat number 1 down

Well I guess its only right to say Good Morning at this stage,
Well a bad night at the table is all part of the game but... this sucked.
Played the Sunday 1/4 Million and after a somewhat promising start ended up so card dead evn J-5 off was becoming tempting. Busted out around 7 or 8 thousandth but in a field of 25,000+ thats no bad achievement.

Played one more game after my precious $4.40 180-man Sng. I was doing great all the way through. Best poker I've played in weeks so obviously a horrendous beat was on the way!!
The hand I went out on... a nightmare. I was on the button with 10,800 chips with A-J of clubs, nobody entered the pot so I thought it was time for a good safe steal of the blinds of 300-600 with an Ante of 50, 1350 chips in the pot with no action you've gotta love it.
So I standard 3x raise to 1200 and get flat called by my buddy in the big blind, who I just seen call an all-in with 5-6 off and crack Aces.

The flop came down J-4-7 with 2 spades. The villan bet weak to 1200 roughly 1/3 of the pot so me protecting my top pair, top kicker raised it up to 5000, knowing this clown could easily be chasing a flush draw. He insta-shoved and me being commited with the odd's I was getting called expecting the nut-flush draw.

I was wrong... he rolls over King-Jack off suit making me a 86.7% favourite, the turn a blank (an irrlevant 3 of diamonds) giving him just over a 7% chance to suck out...

Then river... fucking King, in a way I knew it was going to happen I seriously just had a gut feeling this bastard would suck out on me...

I busted out, from being 6th in chips after the second break with 53 remaining, in an unjustified 41st place. Gutted and can see myself being on tilt for the next few days!!

Will update my news part tomorow where I have news on Isildur1's appearance on the Big Cash Game with Tony G and an update on Jeff Madsen who is currently in exile as part of a prop bet...

Cheers for reading
